BANNER: National CREAM PUFF Day | January 2

The "cream puff" aka profiterole, originated in France and has appeared on US restaurant menus since at least 1851.



It is a filled French choux pastry ball - a light pastry dough, with a typically sweet and moist filling of whipped cream, custard, pastry cream, or ice cream.
