Not enough credit is given to those comfy sweatpants we all love to wear but often take for granted.
International Sweatpants Day is observed the closest weekday to January 21st. In 2018, it is therefore observed on Monday, January 22, 2018.
The first pair of sweatpants was introduced in the 1920s by Émile Camuset, the founder of Le Coq Sportif and were made of
knitted material that
were gray in colour. The pants, to this day, allows athletes to stretch and run comfortably. Of course, companies like Nike have made considerable efforts into making them more attractive while still keeping them comfortable as the original ones.
