It's a much appreciated day because we could all use some extra Z's after turning our clocks ahead one hour for the beginning of Daylight Savings Time!!!..
This day was created thanks to Boston University Professor William Anthony, author of the book The Art of Napping, who says that the first Sunday of daylight savings time, should be celebrated as
“National Nap Day.”
The day was originally celebrated on the first Sunday of daylight savings time and was known as National Nap Day, but that eventually changed to the Monday after it, taking on another name in the process - National Workplace Napping Day.
Happy National Workplace Napping Day!
